Who should apply?
- High school students (and sometimes undergrads) who can commit on a weekly rhythm.
- People who like writing, organizing, talking to others, or shipping small creative projects.
- You don't need a perfect resume. You need curiosity, follow-through, and the habit of saying when you're stuck.
What would I actually contribute?
Depends on the team, but examples include:
- Research & content: structuring questions, fact-checking, drafting copy students can understand.
- Outreach: schools, partners, communities; respectful, organized follow-up.
- Social & creative: posts, graphics, short videos that match TruLevel's tone (clear, not hypey).
- Product / ops: testing flows, documenting bugs, internal checklists.
We track volunteer time through our internal team tools when you're onboarded, but that comes after we've read your application.
What are we looking for in an application?
- Clear writing. Short paragraphs beat walls of text.
- Concrete examples (a project, a club, a job, a class you cared about).
- Realistic availability. We'd rather under-promise and over-deliver.
- A sense of why TruLevel's mission matters to you, even in a small way.
What this is not
- Not a paid job (nonprofit volunteer / internship framing for school where applicable).
- Not a guarantee of admission. We match capacity and fit.
- Not 24/7 on-call; we respect school first.
